STK Company History 

The Company started in 2006 when the STK founding directors Steve Menzler, Terry Inglefield and Keith Parr left the West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service and formed STK Associates LLP. 
In 2009 the Company restructured when one of the directors retired due to ill health and STK Fire & Risk Management Ltd was born. 
 
STK Fire & Risk Management Ltd now have 2 directors, Steve Menzler FIFSM, GFireE (Company Secretary and Operations Director) and Terry Inglefield, MIFireE FIFSM, (Sales & Technical Director). 
 
The company, still under the auspices of Steve and Terry, have 8 Fire Risk Assessors, a training team and a full Customer and Technical support team run by Operations Manager Amanda White. Growing to this size had not diluted any of the customer experience from STK. Indeed, STK has won two local Customer Service awards in 2017 and 2 national runners up awards for Customer Excellence. This coupled with the BAFE SP205 Quality Mark for delivering Fire Risk Assessments assures you get a professional and friendly service. 
 
Customers have told us that our reputation is strong because we offer long-term support and a relationship they can trust in this highly specialised area. They know that there is a massive chasm between good and poor in how this subject is dealt with. 
In August 2017 STK ‘outgrew’ our much-loved offices at the Wolverhampton Science Park and now occupy a bespoke office suite at Wednesfield just outside Wolverhampton. 
In January 2018 we were ‘Third Party’ accredited under the BAFE SP205 Quality Assurance scheme to deliver life safety Fire Risk Assessments. This coveted accreditation means you have the assurance that we have submitted ourselves to the closest scrutiny so that you can receive a Fire Riak Assessment that is totally fit for purpose and guide you to full fire safety and compliance. 
In February 2019 we officially launched our new Training/Meeting suite, from which much of STK’s Fire Safety training is now delivered from. This will be accompanied by a variety of your safety-based training products available form here. With your community Safety in mind there is available to the community a AED Emergency defibrillator for use by the local community. 
Looking Forward: STK will be delivering the first of its kind, accredited (by IQ), ‘level 2 FRA Practitioner Foundation Award’ for FRA knowledge aquisition. 
This will lead on to a vocational ‘level 3 FRA Practioner Qualification'
